The SPIN Gallery of National-Historical Paintings will present, in searchable and browsable form, examples of the pictorial evocation of national history from all European countries.It will combine reproductions with metadata, information on the painter, the scene depicted, and the nineteenth-century ideological investment in that scene.
The Gallery is in preparation at the moment. The first samples are intended to go online in early October.
